Welcome to our web site!

On this home page we'll introduce our organization and give you an overview of what we do. Take a look around the website and be sure to check the calendar for upcoming events.



Volunteer Parkview is a club dedicated to community service projects. The group is open to all students, members do not have to be in a certain grade or maintain a certain gpa.


Dues:
$5.00 and two nonperishable food items for the Lilburn Coop (bring to next meeting or to Ms. Henderson in room 11.103)


Meetings:
Regular meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month (check announcments)


Reward:
You can earn a Volunteer Parkview t-shirt by completing the following during the fall semester:
-Turn in dues
-Return your signed parental permission form
-Participate in 5 service projects, which can include making holiday cards for nursing-home resisdents


Long-term Projects:

-Lilburn Cooperative Ministry--Once a month (1st Friday at 3:00) we will help the Co-op organize food and clothing donations. The Co-op is located across the street from Brusters on Five Forks Trickum Road

-Adopt-A-Grandparetn--This would be a long-term commitment to visiting and sending cards to lonely senior citizens in our community. Simple gestures can brighten someone's day! See Sheena Varghese for more information
